An e-business selling CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray is overhauling its website. They are adding a new section to the website to enable customers to browse, sample, purchase and download songs / albums. The company are also keen to advertise that they meet various web standards (specifically ISO9126 for usability and BS7799 security standard).
The company is also rebranding the entire website – a change of
corporate logo and color scheme. The existing functionality is well established and is working well and, functionally, will remain as is.
You are an experienced tester with experience of testing this type of e-business system, but no experience with this company or its website. You have been asked to perform test execution on the new version of the website using a series of tests already created by the company’s system test team.
