Testing Process
In this module, we are going to go deeper in our understanding of the ISTQB testing process, especially as it relates to things a test manager should know. -
Test Management in Context
This module is the heart of the course. This module has the most content, so don't feel like you need to rush through it. You want to make sure you complete all the exercises so you will have better understanding when it comes time to take the exam.

Defect Management
One of the most important things a test manager does is co-ordinate and understand the defect management process. Defect information is the basis of test reporting and is how the rest of the project stakeholders know the readiness of a product for release. So, it is very important to have an effective and efficient process for defect and incident reporting. -
Improving the Testing Process
Ultimately, it is management's responsibility to improve processes. In this module, you will learn the test manager's role in that effort of process improvement. -
Test Tools and Automation
While the test manager may not actually use many of the tools we discuss in this module, it is essential to know the purpose and value of all the types of test tools. This allows the test manager to design the right mix of tools for an organization or a project.
We will also cover how to select the right tools for your organization. -
People Skills - Team Composition
Software testing is a very human-based activity. The test manager must be able to deal with people well at all levels of the organization.
In this module, we will explore how to build a great test team and how to assess and build their testing skills. -
